After years of experience, of trying every strategy under the sun, I realised that, unless I changed the way I saw my coaching, I would not be able to move forward. So I had to completely change my whole approach and I discovered that there are actually 7 ways in which I could turn my coaching practice into a successful coaching business. I call them “The 7 changes in belief” and I want to share them here with you, so you can also improve your coaching and make a real difference to many more people:

1. Become a Specialist as soon as possible

It is very difficult to build your coaching activity without a target market. It also takes years and a lot of money. Targeting doesn’t mean that you limit your coaching, you will certainly have other clients and you will only increase your chances of success. So you must become the specialised coach in the area of expertise for your target clientele. The expert will be the one they are looking for and willing to pay to help them solve their problems and reach their goals.

2. Coaching is not limited to an Individual Session

You must perceive coaching as a tool to inspire many people to take action and make positive changes in their lives. Therefore, you shouldn’t limit yourself to individual sessions with each client. You can be of far more help to them through seminars, conferences, workshops, audio or video materials; in this way your message can reach as many people as possible. Of course, this is also a tremendous help in making the most of your working hour, and, believe it or not, it helps you deliver more value to your clients.

3. Do not try to sell your Coaching

One of the most common mistakes coaches make is trying to sell their coaching. Clients are not able to see coaching as having value, it is too abstract for them. As long as you provide a solution to a specific problem, as long as you show them the tangible aspect of the potential result, clients will be willing to pay. It is actually quite simple: clients want to know what they are buying, and they will buy the results they are looking for.

4. Create a business and not a practice

If you want to develop a coaching practice, always remember that your revenue will be limited by the number of clients you can fit into your agenda throughout the day. Those coaches who are extremely successful create coaching products, programs, monthly subscriptions and other tools in addition to their coaching. Target your market and then diversify the coaching products you offer to your target clientele, so you will have a constant flow of revenue all year round.

5. Stay visible in front of your Clients

There may be times when your strategies do not work, or your products do not sell that well. You must not give up; always keep in touch with your potential or actual clients. It is not enough just to contact a client once, you must always maintain regular contact. And the best way to do this is to frequently give them practical and useful information, to always be there for your clients, to create a connection with them and make them know you are the expert they need.

6. Do not waste your time; prepare and educate your Potential Clients

It is time for you to stop offering free sessions or creating a marketing strategy just for a single session. You must know how to develop a marketing strategy that affects the vast majority of people. Make yourself credible in front of your clients and increase your potential clients’ interest in your products through your presentation. Your strategy must show them you are an expert in your area and how you can make a difference to as many lives as possible.

7. Coaching is a means, not an end

If you consider your coaching as a tool, a tool you use to help others, then you can increase your possibilities. Your coaching must become the means to achieve a result and no longer the result itself. Your coaching must include all your skills, talents and abilities to help you make the most of your speciality and develop a flourishing coaching business.

I know it may seem difficult to suddenly move away from everything you already know about coaching. But once you think “outside the box” and take a new approach with your coaching, you will see how simple and easy it can be to go from struggling along to finding success.

Now you know what you can do to turn your coaching around. If you need more useful tips and guidance with finding your way toward these changes in belief, do not hesitate to visit my http://coachingandsuccess.com/ website and get all the information you need.
