Trapped in the whirlpool of the human race nowadays, most of you, as coaches, tend to forget why you joined the coaching industry. You seem to do everything automatically, day after day, with no real joy or excitement, wishing each day would be over as soon as possible. If you want to get out of this trap you’re stuck in and make a change for yourself as well as your clients, you must realise that you have to go back and find out what motivated you to become a coach in the first place.
You think that once you get enough money and clients you can actually start enjoying your work and your life. But why wait until then, why not be able to enjoy it as you go along? Try to see things differently inside you and soon you’ll realise that things are not so bad, that you actually love to wake up in the morning and can’t wait to face the challenges of the day. Yes, it is all about attitude, and you don’t have to be an expert to know that.

You can enjoy every little aspect of your activity, all the tasks, because they can get you to what you really want. What you think is what you get, others say, and in time that has proven to be so true! If you really feel inside that you can get more clients and increase your revenue, you will actually achieve it, because this attitude will help you see clearly what you have to do, what steps to take, what products and programmes to create. If you know deep in your heart that you deserve to be successful, and you act accordingly, then the Universe will get the message that you feel comfortable and happy with what you do, and in return it will send you what you wish for and even more.


It is not just theory or motivational words, it is pure fact, and here are a few examples of what you can do to help yourself become the successful coach you want to be.

Use your talents, your skills - that way everything will come easily, because it is part of you and it represents who you are. It is a way of expressing who you are, your personality, and that can give you a great satisfaction and better results in what you do. Use your best assets in your message, in your products and programmes and they will help you get more clients and more revenue in a very short space of time.

Target a market - it doesn’t mean you’ll have fewer clients and a smaller market where you can promote yourself, it means that you identify the problems of a specific market and give the proper solutions to a specific clientele. You will always have the right solutions to their problems and that will differentiate you from your competition. Plus, it becomes so much easier for you to know from the start what you are dealing with, once you know the specific issues of the market you target. It is better to be a specialist than a generalist, as people tend to search for experts and are willing to pay for their services.


Work with your favourite clients - your favourite clients should be those who are committed to the entire process and want to take an active part in the achievement of their goal. Those clients are the ones who do not give up and use your inspiration and motivation for their own development.

Take these simple steps and you will rediscover your love, your passion for coaching. And once you love again what you do and express this in your work, in your programmes, your products and sessions, your clients will feel your passion and will want to work with someone who doesn’t coach just for money, but because they love their profession.
