It is a well known fact that the way you present yourself can either attract clients to you or drive them away. For those of you who are running an online coaching business, the first impact you have on your clients is through your message. So the way you communicate has a great significance for the success of your business.

Your attitude towards coaching is reflected in your message

If you love your coaching, if you like to help others, then it should be really easy to get through to your clients, because they will feel it in your words. Your enthusiasm will also be felt.
Emotions, beliefs, feelings can influence others. Your own thoughts and feelings can isolate you from your clients. People are drawn to and respond to good, positive feelings and emotions and try to distance themselves from negative ones.
I’m sure you turned to coaching for a reason. You found some kind of motivation in it. Whether you want to help others or want to become successful and famous, you started out on this new journey with enthusiasm, joy and motivation. So use that in all your programmes, products, emails and newsletters. Show your enthusiasm and your clients will become enthusiastic as well.

The power of example works perfectly in the coach - client relationship. Plus, it is an accepted fact that we influence everyone and everything around us by our state of mind or our moods. So why not influence others for the better?

Keep it simple
If you only use words with no meaning or quotes taken from other experienced coaches or from books with strange terminologies, you will not get your clients’ attention. Or rather you will, they will pay attention not to work with someone they cannot understand! Using coaching terms when speaking to potential clients only makes the process more difficult. Plus you will become abstract and less understood, and therefore your value will be less perceived.

Never forget that your message should contain 3 simple principles:
- Be concise and simple : speak your clients’ language and do not get tangled up in useless details
- Motivate: show them your motivation and show them the results they will get by working with you. They will be motivated as well.

- Inspire to take action: give them reasons to act towards reaching their goals. Real-life examples are the best trigger for your clients.

Your motivation becomes theirs
Show each client you are motivated to help them get results and you will not give up until they get what they want. You will show them how to act like you, you will also motivate them to think like a winner. Of course, you should never take on all their work and just let them sit back and wait for results. Their satisfaction will be so much greater when they have taken an active part in their transformation, in reaching their goal.
What people appreciate most of all is honesty. Do not try to lie to them or hide the truth from them; they will eventually find out or sense it from the very beginning. If you speak from your heart, they will know you are telling them the truth. Maybe there will be times when they cannot reach their goal as soon as they had hoped, so what is the point in lying to them? It is better to tell them what to expect, than for them to be disappointed, because their disappointment will be aimed towards you, not themselves. And from that moment on, it will be much more difficult to work with them or they may even decide to find someone else.
